I am right at 3 months post op, and having the same issues at the T spot underneath my right breast. I look at your pics, and they are scarily similiar to mine. :) How long did it take yours to totally and completely heal? When did you start wearing a normal bra? Was yours sensitive to the touch? I feel a shooting pain whenever I touch it. During the day with a bra on it's fine, but after I take it off I get home, it is excruciating. Thanks SO much!!

It took me nearly 6 months to completely heal and stop spitting stitches. And I had that shooting pain (still do sometimes) for a long time. It will get better. The nerves are all trying to reconnect and they get a little confused I think. Just be patient. It is worth it.
I want to thank you for all the information. I am 3 weeks post op. It has been a long and hard recovery. Since I have small children, but a wonderful husband that has taken the best care of me. I don't know if I would have been so calm about surgery if it wasn't for your blog. I am still getting really tired from doing simple things at home. I am at the point that I feel I will not ever be normal. I know it takes time. Again thank you so much for all your help with your blog.

How are you feeling now? Glad my blog was able to help you.
Thank you for all your diary writings and pictures. I am having surgery in 9 days so all very helpful. You said you wished you went smaller. What size did you reduce to? I had a fall injury and have hardened hematomas that will be removed with my reduction, he has to do a lot to get all the lumps out. He said a large B maybe small C. I told him the smaller the better, not to worry, go small! If not for the injury this wouldn't be happening so I am glad that I get a benefit from being hurt! TIA

How are you doing? I ended up with a very full c. I had so much tissue they just couldn’t justify taking any more. I am disappointed for sure. But not as disappointed as I was living with them the other way.
you've probably gotten like a million of these, but thank you for this blog. it makes me realize i'm not alone when it comes to wanting reduction surgery. i will be turning 20 this january, and i really want this surgery as my present, so i hope i get approved (dr AND parent wise haha). you're really inspiring with your journey, and i am thinking about making my own blog documenting mine. i really admire you so much.
Keep us posted on your situation! I am happy my journey has helped you. I definitely encourage you to do your own as well. There just isn’t enough personal information out there.
My surgery is set for Aug 2nd :) Finally got the date... I am super excited :)

I hope your recovery is going well. I am glad my journey has been so helpful!
Thanks for posting all this. I am on day 8 post-surgery and was just looking for some info on what was "normal" - it's the tightness (trauma, duh) that I wanted to check on - the bottom half of my boobs (trauma, duh!) feel like they are made of hard plastic - so it was good to hear you talk about ongoing softening, etc. The medical community does a great job of telling you how to care for things, but not a lot about what's "normal". Patience, patience, patience - the hardest part! Tks again.

Hi, My Dr referred me today to a PS to see about a reduction... I am a 38G, Have the back and neck pain, along with a cyst under my left breast, If I wear my suporrtive Bra back pain isn't so bad but then the cyst gets infected but the underwire, if I wear the sports Bra I get the back pain... I am praying that he thinks it is best that I have it done... I am thinking on a C cup... Do you know the weight limit to pick up after surgery ???

Hi! I hope you have your surgery and find some relief! I too had painful cysts that where removed during surgery. I have so much less pain now. As for lifting, you really shouldn’t lift anything at all for the first couple of weeks, and very little for the first 6 weeks. Your healing process will determine what you can do and when. Listen to your doctor’s advice. Good luck! Keep us posted!
So I'm looking for a good place to get my breast reduction done in the west coast area, most looking in the northwest area, can anyone help?

I do not personally know of anyone on the west coast, but I will publish this question for you and hopefully someone else does!
